REQUIREMENTS FOR FOREIGN EXHIBITORS

1. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR EXHIBITORS.
|
|||||||

1.1. |
Bottles of cider should be shipped from April 23 to April 27, clearly stating the number of the stand, to: |
|||||
|
|
||||||
|
1.2. |
They will be received and stored there until May 2, when they will be placed at your disposal on the corresponding stand. |
|||||
|
|||||||
|
1.3. |
Should assistance be needed with transport and customs matters: |
|||||
|
|||||||
|
1.4. |
The person in charge for any clarification and further information in this matter is: |
|||||
|
|||||||
|
1.5. |
Each exhibitor shall bring a minimum of 300 bottles to the tradeshow. |
|||||
|
|||||||
|
1.6. |
Producers that bring cider that requires pouring from a height must provide a mat (which will be removed from the exhibition area daily) and an anti-splash device. |
|||||
|
|||||||
|
1.7. |
Each stand must have a responsible person present at all times within the schedules of the tradeshow. |
|||||
|
|||||||
|
1.8. |
Each company is responsible for its own products and all items it brings to the tradeshow. |
|||||
|
|||||||
|
1.9. |
It is not permitted to decoratestands with elements unrelated to the tradeshow. The only items allowed are posters (of the cider-cellar, brand image) or similar corporate items placed on the inside panels. It is not necessary for exhibitors to provide any other additional item for the stand. |
|||||
|
|||||||
|
1.10. |
Stands may in no case be damaged. Consequently only soft adhesive material may be used; no drilling, nailing or other type of hole may be made in the structure and any defect will be the liability of the exhibitor. |
|||||
|
|||||||
|
1.11. |
Exhibitors may occupy their stand as of Thursday May 3 from 12:00 mid-day onwards. |
|||||
|
|||||||
|
1.12. |
On Sunday May 6 at 18:00 hrs. all stands must be vacated and each company’s material removed. |
|||||
2. ORGANISATIONAL ASPECTS WITHIN THE SHOW |
|||||||
2.1. |
The International Quality Cider Trade Fair will be held in the Palace of Congresses located in the Gijón Trade Fair. |
||||||
2.2. |
Opening times for the show are as follows: Thursday May 3: from 18:00 hrs. (6 pm) until 21:30 hrs. (9.30 pm). |
||||||
2.3. |
The organization will provide each exhibitor with pouring glasses and RIEDEL brand cider tasting glasses exclusive to the tradeshow. |
||||||
2.4. |
The organization will take care of collection, replacement and washing of glasses. |
||||||
2.5. |
A waiter will be assigned to each stand for supply of ice and glasses. |
||||||
2.6. |
Each stand will be provided with an ice bucket for chilling the product on the stand itself and another in the stores, as well as a dish for titbits (breadsticks, dried fruit & nuts etc) and a spittoon. |
||||||

2.7. |
Each stand will have a small space for product storage in the merchandise reception area; it must therefore be well packed and numbered in the store in accordance with the stand numbering in order for it to be brought out as required. |

||||||
2.8. |
The organization is responsible for cleaning of the premises in general but cleaning of the inside of the stand is the responsibility of the exhibitor. |
||||||
|

||||||
2.9. |
The organization will provide two exhibitor accreditations per company, which can be collected at the fair itself from on Thursday May 3 before the opening of the tradeshow. |
||||||
|
|
||||||
2.10. |
Each exhibitor company will receive invitations to the tradeshow each valid for one person and one day. |
||||||
3. VARIOUS |
|||||||
3.1. |
The tradeshow will be open from Thursday 3 at 18:00 hrs. through Sunday 6 until 15:00 hrs. |
||||||
3.2. |
Entrance on Thursday and Friday will be limited to professionals or visitors with an invitation valid for one person and one day. |
||||||
3.3. |
At the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) access to the tradeshow will be possible on payment of an entrance ticket of 10€ which will allow access to the exhibitors’ area. During the weekend entrance will also be possible with an invitation as these are valid for any day during the tradeshow. |
||||||
3.4. |
The organization provides for trade professionals and the visiting public the Laboratorio del Gusto (Taste Laboratory), in which a selection of cooks will offer tastings with gourmet products. The aim is to harmonize these dishes with the different ciders present at Sicer. |
||||||
3.5. |
The timetable of the Taste Laboratory is from 13:30 to 15:00 hrs. Exhibitors may buy entrance tickets to these sessions to give as presents to their clients at 5€ each. |
||||||
3.6. |
Habrá un punto de venta para que lo expositores que lo deseen puedan vender su sidra. En caso de que estén interesados deben indicarnos el nombre de la sidra y el precio para elaborar una carta de sidras. |
