The International Quality Cider Trade Fair will be the most important event world-wide in the history of cider. It aims to become the a point of reference for quality cider world-wide, a meeting place for the main cider producers from different countries throughout the world, where the best producers will come together from France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Canada, the USA, Italy, Japan, Argentina...
Commercially it will be a unique opportunity. At Sicer it will be possible to meet the main buyers, distributors and exporters of the 5 continents. Sicer is destined to be the most effective channel to promote products and project them internationally.
The participation of the main food journalists of more than a dozen countries makes Sicer the best means of boosting presentation of products in the 5 continents. Sicer will provide a chance to taste the best ciders in the world, and gain a deeper knowledge of the different types and kinds of cider.
The International Quality Cider Fair will be made up of 4 areas:
1. Exhibition area:
This is mainly where the producers from the different countries (cider-presses) will be represented. In this are the visitor will be able to taste and get to know the different products brought by the exhibitors, at standardized stands designed by the organization, so that exhibitors will only need to worry about displaying their products, while the organization carries out all the tasks that do not contribute added value to the company.

2. Tasting Area:
A fundamental role of the fair is to develop and promote cider hand in hand with fine food, and more particularly high-class cuisine. This space will be dedicated to harmonizing different ciders with the creations of the leading star restaurateurs.
3. Master Tastings:
We will carry out high level cider tastings, directed by the most outstanding professionals at world level. We will offer producers the chance to work together with the best known apple experts on the international scene.
4. Debates:
Sicer will be the opportunity to extend and perfect our knowledge in the world of cider, we will have the opportunity to learn first-hand from the best professionals about the most interesting topics in the world of cider (growing, apple varieties, novel products, pest control, marketing techniques) through workshops, round tables and key presentations.
Sicer will be held in the Principality of Asturias, a historical region in the North of Spain, more precisely in the coastal, cosmopolitan town of Gijón, a tourist destination and area known world-wide for fine food, where cider has deep roots in local and regional culture.
Sicer is located in the Auditorium-Exhibition Palace of the Asturias International Trade Fair, a flagship venue where important world-class events are held.
